_Prices current as of June 2026._ ## Subscription plans Gluten Hero has three paid tiers: | Plan | Price | What you get | |---|---|---| | Monthly | $12/month | Access to log, import, and export transactions for the current calendar month | | Annual | $99/year | Full-year access to all features, including year-end tax summary reports | | Founding Member Annual | $79/year | Same as Annual—locked at this rate for at least three years for founding members who joined before July 1, 2026 | There is also a **Free** tier with a 30-receipt-per-month cap and no access to reports or exports. ## How monthly billing works Monthly subscribers pay for **the current calendar month**, not 30 rolling days from their signup date. - Subscribe on June 15 → you pay $12 for June and can log all of June's transactions - July 1 → $12 charged for July - August 1 → $12 charged for August Every monthly subscriber is on the same billing cycle. There are no per-person billing anniversaries. ### Why the 1st? Anchoring charges to the first of the month means your billing date is always predictable, and your access always covers a clean calendar month—the same period you'd track for your annual tax report. ### What if I subscribe late in the month? You pay the full $12 for that month and get access through the end of the month. For example, subscribing on June 28 costs $12 for June—not a prorated fraction. You can log every June transaction even though you joined near the end. ### What if I cancel and resubscribe? If you resubscribe in July, you pay $12 for July and your access renews on August 1. There are no gap exceptions or partial credits. ## What happens if a payment fails? Stripe automatically retries failed payments up to eight times over two weeks using its Smart Retry system, which picks the best times to retry based on your bank's patterns. You'll receive an email each time a payment fails and another when your subscription is at risk of canceling. This gives you time to update your payment method before losing access. If all retries fail, your subscription cancels and your account moves to the Free tier. You can resubscribe at any time. ## Managing your subscription To update your payment method, view past invoices, or cancel, go to **Settings → Billing** inside the app and click **Manage subscription**. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can make changes immediately. ## Annual billing Annual subscribers are charged once per year on their renewal date (the anniversary of their original subscription). Annual plans include all features and are not subject to the monthly receipt cap.
