The search bar at [resources.glutenhero.net](https://resources.glutenhero.net) searches across the full content of every published resource and every glossary term. Here's what that means in practice. ## What it searches Every resource has a title, a short description, and article body text. The search reads all three, weighted so that a match in the title ranks higher than a match buried in the body. Glossary terms (the 30 defined terms at `/glossary`) appear in the same results—so typing "AGI" may surface both a calculator resource and the AGI glossary entry. ## How to get good results - **Plain words work best.** Type the concept you're looking for: `medical mileage`, `HSA`, `Schedule A`, `7.5%`. You do not need to know the exact title. - **Partial words work.** Typing `diagnos` will find resources about diagnosis, diagnosed, and diagnostic. - **Quoted phrases** narrow results to resources where those words appear together. - **Category and format dropdowns** narrow further after you search. Use both: search `mileage`, then set Format to Calculator. ## What it does not search - The help center (this site). Search here is separate and works the same way. - Resources marked as drafts or not yet published. - File downloads (the spreadsheets and PDFs themselves—only the landing page text is searchable). ## Results show "Searching…" The search calls the database on every keystroke with a short delay. If you see "Searching…" for more than a second or two, check your network connection and try again. ## No results If a search returns nothing, try a broader term. The resources library is still growing—if you expect something to be there and can't find it, the resource may not be published yet. Use the Feedback button on any page to request it.
