    Edit or delete a logged item, trip, or expense

    **Nothing is locked in. Everything you've logged stays editable as long as your account is open.**
    
    ## Editing an entry
    
    Tap any item, trip, or medical expense from the dashboard or your expense log. It opens the same form you used to log it, pre-filled with what's already there. Change what you need; save. Date, store, prices, category, photos — all of it is editable.
    
    ## Multi-item receipts open as a group
    
    If you tap one item on a receipt that had five line items, the edit screen shows all five — that way you can fix prices across the whole receipt without hunting them down one at a time. The receipt date, store, and photos are shared across the items.
    
    ## Deleting
    
    Each row in your expense log has a trash icon. Tap it; confirm. We don't hide that one behind a menu — you should be able to undo a mistake quickly.
    
    ## What happens on delete
    
    The entry is removed from your expense log and your totals update immediately. We don't have undo yet (it's on the list). Photos attached to a deleted entry are removed from storage on the next nightly sweep.

    > Deleting hundreds of entries one at a time is painful. Open an Account & Data ticket and we'll run a scoped delete by hand — "all receipts before March 2026" is a normal request.
