June 29, 2026
Sharing a GF Find to Facebook now shows the find, not a bare link
Sharing a GF Find to Facebook (and any Open Graph target) now renders a card describing the actual find — product, store, and price — instead of the generic app link.
June 29, 2026
Share a GF Find now survives the Discord share sheet
Sharing a GF Find to Discord (and other OS share-sheet targets) now carries the full note plus the link, instead of arriving as a bare link with no context.
June 29, 2026

June 17, 2026

The Billing page now sends each member to the right place to manage their plan, and a confusing error message is gone.
June 17, 2026
Search the Resources library and your results come to you
The moment you search or pick a filter on the Resources homepage, the browse sections fold away and your results jump up directly under the search — no more scrolling past the callout, tiles, and featured row to find what matched.
June 17, 2026
A sticky search bar follows you down the Resources library
Search the Resources hub from anywhere on the page — a slim search bar now slides in from the top once the hero search scrolls away, carrying the query, audience filters, a live result count, and a one-tap way out of search.
June 16, 2026
Demo personas now show their real plan — and can't silently regress

Card Catalog smoke test text layout and typography restored
The Help Section smoke test at `community.glutenhero.net/admin/smoke-tests/card-catalog-c5s2` had two layout issues: text appearing squished/compressed in narrow lines, and missing Google Fonts preventing proper typography rendering.

June 13, 2026
Help center category and article pages refresh content on SPA navigation
Fixed a bug where Help center pages showed stale content when navigating between categories or articles via sidebar links. The issue affected both `/help/category/:cat` and `/help/:slug` routes: the `vite-react-ssg` loaders only run at build time, so client-side navigations kept prerendered `loaderData` from the previous page, causing the effects to short-circuit re-fetches.
June 13, 2026
Email gate button label now says Download
The Letter Studio's email gate button said "Unlock PDF" — confusing because users are unlocking access to download a dynamically-generated letter, not a static file. Button now says "Download" to match the gate's own copy ("unlock the download"), the skip button ("just download"), and the main action that follows.

Launching a demo persona now shows that persona's actual plan (Free, Monthly, Annual, or Founding Member) on the Billing screen instead of "Founding Member" for everyone.
June 13, 2026
Fixed persona launch buttons using wrong Supabase key
The "Launch in App" and "Copy community link" buttons on `/admin/personas` were returning 502 errors. Root cause: the community Vercel project's `SUPABASE_SERVICE_ROLE_KEY` env var was pointing to the App Supabase project, not the Marketing/Roadmap project.
June 13, 2026
Personas refactored to match all subscription tiers
Personas now cover every subscription tier with correct naming and complete access matrices.
June 13, 2026

June 13, 2026

June 12, 2026
Founding Member welcome emails now send correctly from the backfill function
The backfill-founding-members Edge Function now sends the official welcome email to every Founding Member whose email has not yet been sent, so missed accounts (like those where the Stripe webhook ran before the send path existed) are fully recovered in one re-run.
June 12, 2026
The Gluten Exposure Cost Calculator now shows up in the Resources Library
The Gluten Exposure Cost Calculator has been live for weeks, but it was missing from the resources grid, so the only way to reach it was a direct link. It now appears as a card alongside the other calculators.

The thirteen static landing pages on resources.glutenhero.net (the four calculators, two quizzes, four downloads, and three reference guides) used to ship with only a title and a one-sentence description. The Resources Library at resources.glutenhero.net now has its four downloadable PDFs in place: a gluten-free item list, a monthly tracking checklist, a sample of the in-app report, and the For-Your-CPA & Tax Pro Packet that gathers the source material a return preparer needs.
May 19, 2026
Expense Estimator screenshots, plus permanent capture tooling for lead magnets
Fresh phone, tablet, and desktop screenshots of the GF Expense Estimator across three states (landing, form filled in, results panel), plus a new capture script that makes adding the readiness quiz and lifetime cost projector trivial.
May 19, 2026
In-app Help links now point at the community site
The Help page in the app now sends users to the right place for both support tickets and the help center, and a dead-code scaffold that had been sitting unused since the initial repo seed was removed.
May 19, 2026
Knowledge base now lives at community.glutenhero.net/help
CLAUDE.md was updated to reflect that the help center and the community site merged into one place, so future Claude sessions point users at the right URL.
May 19, 2026
Six newly-diagnosed articles are live on the Resources Library
The flagship "Just diagnosed? Start here." four-week playbook, plus five companion articles covering label reading, the physician chart-note ask, mixed-household kitchen setup, packing a gluten-free school lunch, and being the spouse of someone newly diagnosed.
May 19, 2026
Resources Library now has an admin authoring page
You can now write articles, add videos, upload downloads, and edit FAQ and glossary entries yourself, without going through a Claude Code session. Find it under Admin → Resources.
May 19, 2026
Resources article URLs no longer 404
Every `/r/<slug>/` URL on resources.glutenhero.net was returning a 404 from Vercel, even when the underlying article row had real body content. The Vercel rewrite destination explicitly named `index.html`, which conflicted with the project's clean-URLs setting and broke the routing. Switched the destination to the directory form so Vercel resolves the index file the same way it does everywhere else.
May 19, 2026
resources.glutenhero.net got a proper homepage
The landing page at `resources.glutenhero.net` is now the full Resources Library, not a three-card link list. Nine sections per the design deck: nav, warm cream hero with search and audience pills, newly-diagnosed callout, category tile grid, asymmetric "Most opened this week" featured row, filterable resource grid with active-filter pills, office hours band, monthly newsletter, and the plum footer.
May 19, 2026
A written plan for the rest of the Resources Library
The Resources Library now has its own sprint plan, sibling to the App-side competitive plan and the community-site plan. Ten R-prefixed sprints sequence everything from the data layer to the final newsletter and Office Hours wiring, with content authoring landing in an admin surface Gluten Hero controls rather than in a separate WordPress install.
May 19, 2026
Resources nav and footer links go to real pages on glutenhero.net
The Resources homepage nav and footer had four links pointing at marketing-site routes that don't exist (`/for-cpas`, `/product`, `/pricing`, and two duplicates of the same). Repointed each one at a route that's actually live on glutenhero.net.
May 19, 2026
Resources Library is database-backed now
The Resources Library at `resources.glutenhero.net` now reads its content from a database instead of a hardcoded array in the page. Articles, FAQ, glossary entries, videos, downloads, webinars, calculators, and quizzes all live in one table. Article pages render their bodies from Markdown at a shared shell URL.
May 19, 2026
The Resources Library search is a little less dead-on-arrival
The search box on resources.glutenhero.net now tells you what it does and gives you somewhere to land when a search comes up empty.
May 19, 2026
Taxes and reports article batch shipped to the Resources Library
Two new articles on the Resources Library walk the tax-credibility picture from the source language to the workflow with your CPA or tax professional.
May 19, 2026
Four new tracking, saving, and budget articles on Resources
The Resources Library at resources.glutenhero.net picked up four more long-form articles today, finishing the second batch of the launch-week content push.
May 18, 2026

May 18, 2026

The home page on community.glutenhero.net got its first pass of design fidelity work, bringing the visitor hero, founding-member section, and roadmap section in line with the locked design spec.
May 18, 2026
Fresh app screenshots, with a smarter capture script
A new set of phone, tablet, and desktop screenshots covers every user-facing page in the app, and the script that produces them now waits for fonts, skeletons, and charts to render before shooting.
May 18, 2026
Scrolling WebM videos for the marketing-heavy app pages
The screenshot script can now record short scrolling videos of the Dashboard, Reports, Profile, Help, Settings, and Disclaimer pages so they can be dropped into Canva, Keynote, or any slide tool that takes WebM.
May 17, 2026
Founding Members can sign in again
Fixed a critical Beta Gate bug that was sending real Founding Members to the "not on the beta list yet" denial card when they tried to sign in.
May 17, 2026
Founding Members can actually sign in now
The Beta Gate denial card had been showing for every registered Founding Member since the gate shipped, including in earlier attempts to fix it today.
May 17, 2026
Founding Members can sign in again, for real this time
A second swing at the gate bug that was sending registered Founding Members to the "private beta" denial card.
May 17, 2026
A Go Live waitlist for when Founding Member spots fill up
The Founding Member program caps at 1,000 people. Once that cap is hit, the deposit button on community.glutenhero.net swaps to a "Join the waitlist" form so nobody walks away empty-handed.
May 16, 2026
Beta Gate enforcement on glutenhero.app
While the app is in private beta, only Founding Members and invited testers can sign in. Today the gate's user-facing pieces landed so the experience for everyone else stays warm and clear.
May 16, 2026
Average Extra per Item replaces Average Extra per Shop
The second Insights card now averages your tracked GF premium across the items you logged in scope, not across the number of receipts those items came from. Same number on the top half of the math, just a denominator that matches what the card is actually asking about.
May 16, 2026
Importing a Gluten Hero JSON backup skips the CSV column-mapping step
Re-importing a Gluten Hero JSON backup now lands straight in the preview, instead of detouring through the CSV column-mapping screen with blank column names.
May 16, 2026
Saving a GF Find no longer blanks the screen
Saving a Share a GF Find now shows the success card with five share buttons (Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Copy Link, Snapshot) instead of going blank.
May 13, 2026
Average Extra per Shop reads clearly and shows its math
The Insights card "Average Extra per Shop" no longer reads as if it were counting mileage trips, and its "How is this calculated?" disclosure now explains why an item without a logged regular price counts at full price.
May 13, 2026
Subtotals in the home page details are easier to read on a desktop
When you expand "Show details" on the home page, the category rows now sit at a comfortable reading width on desktop so the label and amount stay visually connected.
May 13, 2026
Editing a medical expense's date no longer makes it vanish from Recent
If you edited a medical expense and changed its date to a different tax year, the entry disappeared from your dashboard's Recent list and looked like it had been deleted. It is back.
May 13, 2026
Founding Members and Donations admin desks
Two new admin desks on community.glutenhero.net, plus the Stripe billing portal redirect from the Account hub and a gift-pass redemption flow.
May 13, 2026
Marking an item GF Only now clears the regular price
Editing a logged item and ticking Exclusively GF used to leave the old regular price hiding in the background; toggling the box off again brought the prior amount back. Now the regular price is cleared the moment Exclusively GF is checked, so the field reads empty if you ever flip back.
May 13, 2026
GF vs Regular card on Reports now shows the dollar amount too
The GF vs Regular card on Reports → Insights still leads with the percentage, and now shows the dollar premium that goes with it on a small second line just under the percentage.
May 13, 2026
Shipped fixes now actually reach your browser without F5
A bug reporter noticed that the Year to Date chart on Reports kept looking flat right after sign-in until they hit F5, even though yesterday's fix for that exact chart had already shipped. The reason was a service-worker setting that made every new version of the app wait quietly in the background instead of taking over. New versions now activate themselves automatically.
May 13, 2026
Year to Date chart caption now reads as your progress, not the chart's value
The caption that appears under the Year to Date chart when your AGI threshold is too high to plot on the same axis was being misread as a claim about your cumulative line's value. It now leads with how far you have to go.
May 12, 2026
Your account, all in one place on community.glutenhero.net
Signed-in members now have a real account page at `/account` that brings together every feature request you've submitted, every support ticket you've opened, and your Founding Member status.
May 12, 2026
One admin shell for the community site
The community site's admin pages now live inside a single shared shell instead of three separate pages with three different layouts.
May 12, 2026
Community site redesign locked
The full spec for the community.glutenhero.net rebuild is in. Four design questions have answers, the visual reference lives in the repo, and the next five sprints know exactly what they are building.
May 12, 2026
The public roadmap is now editable without a code deploy
Until today, the "What's coming next" section on community.glutenhero.net was a hardcoded list inside the source code. Updating it meant a developer, a pull request, and a deploy. Now it reads from the database, and any admin can edit it.
May 12, 2026
Internal demo-seed script lands so testers get realistic data in a minute
Admins can now populate a fresh account with a year of receipts, trips, medical expenses, and community finds in a single command, so a new pre-Beta tester sees a real-looking dashboard instead of an empty one.
May 12, 2026
Doc catch-up and CLAUDE.md drift cleanup
Caught up four orphan-branch session closeouts that never landed and corrected three places in CLAUDE.md that had drifted from reality. No app code changes, no migration.
May 12, 2026
Feature requests get a real lifecycle on the community board
The status pill on each feature request now reflects a full lifecycle, and the rails are in place for admins to move requests through it and reply in public.
May 12, 2026
Lifetime Cost Projector emails go live, migrations folder split by project
The Lifetime Celiac Cost Projector can now email you your personalized projection, and the repo's migrations folder is reorganized so the App and Roadmap databases each have their own clean home.
May 12, 2026
Admin demo-seed tool now runs from the browser
The demo-seed script that lands fresh testers on a populated account can now be triggered from the GitHub Actions tab in two clicks, so no terminal is required.
May 12, 2026
Sharing a report with your CPA works again
Reports → Share Report was bouncing with a session error even on a fresh login. The Edge Function now identifies the signed in user correctly, and a double tap on Send no longer results in two emails to the CPA.
May 12, 2026
Caught up on the things the docs missed
A quick audit of "what shipped vs. what the docs say shipped" surfaced four migrations, an Edge Function, and a whole parallel workstream (the Beta Gate) that had landed on main but were missing from CLAUDE.md's snapshot. Captured them in WHAT EXISTS TODAY so future sessions start with a true picture, and triaged two PRs that had been sitting on GitHub.
May 12, 2026
The Gluten Hero team can now reply to your feature requests
The feature-request board now closes the loop. When the team changes a request's status or writes a public reply, you see it on the public card and the original submitter gets an email.
May 12, 2026
Year to Date chart no longer flatlines when your AGI threshold is much higher than your total
The Year to Date chart on Reports → Insights would look like a flat line at zero anytime your AGI threshold sat far above your tracked premium for the year. The line was actually correct, just visually squashed by the much larger threshold marker on the same Y-axis.
May 10, 2026
Bug Desk tab counts now update without opening the tab
The numbers in parentheses on the Bug Desk tabs (Bugs, Questions, Admin Features) now stay accurate without needing to open each tab first.
May 10, 2026
Admins can log feature requests on someone's behalf
When a request comes in by email, in the Facebook group, on Discord, or anywhere else, admins can now log it directly to the public feature board and credit the right person.
May 10, 2026
AGI Scenario Explorer amounts no longer overlap their labels on desktop
On wide-screen Reports, the AGI Scenario Explorer card on the right rail rendered its Current and Scenario panels in two columns inside a 288 px rail. Amounts like $55,000.00 collided with the "7.5% threshold" and "Tracked totals" labels.
May 10, 2026
Bug Desk tab pills show open and in progress, alongside total
The numbers next to Bugs, Questions, and Admin Features on the Bug Desk now show how many still need attention plus the full count, in the format `Bugs (3 / 41)`. Resolved, closed, done, deferred, and answered items no longer inflate the first number, but the second number stays so an empty pill never reads ambiguously.
May 10, 2026
Bug Desk tabs switch again
Pressing Bugs, Questions, or Admin Features on the Bug Desk now actually changes which list you see.
May 10, 2026
A plain-English smoke-test guide for human testers
A new companion document walks a non-developer tester through every Gluten Hero feature with checkbox lists and one-action-per-step instructions.
May 10, 2026
Add to Home Screen now installs Gluten Hero as a real app on iPhone
Adding Gluten Hero from iPhone Safari's Share menu now produces a real standalone app on the home screen, instead of a bookmark that opens in Safari.
May 10, 2026
Share Report now actually attaches the PDF and CSV
The Email button on the Reports page used to open your email compose window with no real attachment, sometimes showing a confusing "files weren't attached because they're empty" warning. The button is now Share Report and sends a real email from Gluten Hero with the PDF and CSV attached.
May 10, 2026
Tighter home page on phone
The dashboard now packs more useful content into a phone screen, with the AGI threshold folded into the hero and the second row of buttons retired.
May 9, 2026
Beta dates corrected across docs and the FAQ
The "When will Gluten Hero launch?" answer in the FAQ on this site now reflects the real schedule: private Pre-Beta opened May 1, Public Beta opens May 22, and Go Live is July 1, 2026. Several stale references to an earlier April 1 beta target have been swept out of the canonical project documentation in the same pass.
May 9, 2026
Offline edits to medical expenses no longer overwrite each other silently
When you edit a medical expense offline and someone (or another device) changes the same row before yours can sync, the app now stops, shows you both versions side by side, and lets you pick which to keep. Receipts and trips stay last-write-wins on purpose; medical edits get the careful treatment because the dollar amounts matter most.
May 9, 2026
A test suite that drives the app the way a person would
We can now run a real browser through Sprint 6 conflict scenarios automatically, instead of asking a human to walk the checklist by hand each time. Six of nine scenarios pass on every commit; the others are documented and on the follow-up list.
May 9, 2026
Offline saves stay safe and sync the moment you reconnect
When the app loses signal, the things you log keep working. They show up on the dashboard right away, ride out in a queue, and finish saving the moment your connection returns.
May 9, 2026
Add Gluten Hero to your phone's home screen
The web app is now an installable Progressive Web App. On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and the green Gluten Hero icon appears like a regular app. On Android, Chrome will prompt to install it after a few visits.
May 9, 2026
Four conflict-detection bugs from the Sprint 6 audit are fixed
We swept four edge cases the Sprint 6 audit flagged in the offline-edit conflict-detection path so the medical-edit flow holds up cleanly when real-world things go wrong.
May 9, 2026
Sprint 6 audit pass
We ran three independent audits over the freshly-merged Sprint 6 work and the new e2e suite came back green; the full report is now part of the admin wiki.
May 8, 2026
Badge notifications no longer stack on top of each other when you sign in
When you arrived from a magic link and several badges were awarded at once, three separate notifications would pile up on top of each other and only the newest one was readable before they all disappeared.
May 8, 2026
Copyright notice on Settings, Login, and Onboarding
The app now shows the Gluten Hero copyright at the bottom of the Settings, sign-in, and onboarding screens, and one canonical copyright line is used everywhere across the property.
May 8, 2026
CSV export button label now fits on the Reports page
The CSV export button on Reports was titled "Export CSV for Your Tax Professional 💼", which was long enough to overflow the right rail at desktop widths. The label is now "Export CSV Report 💼", parallel to the "Download PDF Report 📄" button right above it.
May 8, 2026
CSV export now saves on iPhone, no scary message after
The "Export CSV for Your Tax Professional" button on the Reports page now saves on iPhone, and the misleading "could not save this export" message no longer appears after a successful download.
May 8, 2026
Launch-week cutover date locked in for the lead magnets and community board
The lead magnets and the community feature board are staying in this repo until launch week, with the move to their own homes scheduled for June 23, 2026.
May 8, 2026
Badges no longer use wheat icons, and tiers visually progress
The Profile badge grid used to stamp the same little wheat stalk on every Logging badge, which was an odd visual choice on a gluten-free product and made the five tiers feel like one repeated sticker. Each Logging tier now has its own icon that grows with the count, and the other categories ladder up too instead of repeating one icon.
May 8, 2026
Paste or upload an image when filing a bug
The bug report form now accepts an image from your clipboard, a file, a drag-and-drop, or your phone camera, and the admin Bug Desk's manual "Report Bug" dialog can attach an image too.
May 8, 2026
Pick the emoji next to your name
The dashboard greeting used to always show the same green heart next to your name. You can now pick a different heart, or pick None.
May 8, 2026
Save button now anchors the bottom of Settings
The Save button on Settings used to sit halfway down the page, above sections that already saved automatically, which left some users wondering whether their theme or attestation choice had stuck.
May 8, 2026
Sharper logo on the lead magnet pages
The Gluten Hero shield now renders as a crisp full color SVG on every lead magnet page, replacing the old PNG that the page styling was bleaching to a blank white silhouette.
May 8, 2026
Sign-in email autofills on desktop too
The sign-in field now matches the industry standard for passwordless sign-in, so desktop browsers offer your saved email as an autofill suggestion the same way phones already do.
May 8, 2026
A paste-ready briefing for fresh claude.ai sessions
A new admin page bundles the project context, current sprint state, voice rules, and key facts into one document that can be pasted into a cold claude.ai session to bring it up to speed in a single shot.
May 8, 2026
Tracked since folded into the dashboard hero
The "Tracked since" date now reads as part of the hero card, freeing up a row of vertical space at the top of the dashboard on phone widths.
May 7, 2026
Phone, tablet, and desktop screenshots of every app page
We can now generate a full set of phone, tablet, and desktop screenshots of every page in the app with one command, no real account needed.
May 7, 2026
Arrow keys now move between options on every segmented control
The pill segmented controls on Reports, including the Insights time scope, the Tax Year switcher, and the Items category filter, now respond to keyboard arrow keys the way a screen reader user expects.
May 7, 2026
Insights charts fit better on a phone
The Monthly Cost Comparison chart now reclaims vertical space on phone widths by dropping the legend and labelling the most recent bar pair directly, and tooltips on every Insights chart stay inside the viewport when you tap a bar at the right edge.
May 7, 2026
Insights charts get a dedicated dark mode palette
Insights charts now treat dark mode as its own palette, not a simple inversion, so thin lines and small bar pairs hold contrast against the dark surface.
May 7, 2026
Confidence framing under small-sample Insights cards
When an Insights card has just enough history to show a number but not enough to be precise, a small italic label now sits under the value: "Early estimate based on 4 shops. More accurate after 5 or more." The label disappears once you cross the maturity threshold.
May 7, 2026
Date is the first field on Log Trip
The Log Trip page now puts the trip date at the top of the form, matching how Log Items and Log Medical Expense are laid out.
May 7, 2026
A Deferred status for the Bug Desk so parked items stop pretending to be open or closed
The admin Bug Desk now has a Deferred status, distinct from Closed, with a Why deferred? reason that future triage sessions can read.
May 7, 2026
Email to Tax Professional now actually attaches the PDF
The Email to My Tax Professional button on Reports now sends the PDF as a real attachment on iPhone and Android, and on desktop it downloads the PDF and tells you to attach it to the email that just opened.
May 7, 2026
Floating header buttons no longer cover the Tracked since pill
The dark-mode toggle and the help button at the top-right of the dashboard were sitting on top of the "Tracked since" pill on phone-width screens, making the pill hard to read.
May 7, 2026
Forbidden-language lint expanded
The repo's content lint now blocks a longer list of phrases that read as AI-generated, generic, or moralizing. Anything that sneaks into a saving tip, a methodology entry, or a share tagline gets caught by a vitest run before it ships.
May 7, 2026
Home page fits better on small phones
The Dashboard now lays out cleanly on narrow iPhones, with a more visible logo, the "Tracked since" pill clear of the floating Theme and Help icons, a tighter hero card that tucks secondary stats behind a Show details toggle, shorter Quick Action buttons, and a floating bug icon that no longer crowds the rightmost bottom-nav tab.
May 7, 2026
How this is calculated, on every Insights card
Every card and chart on the Insights tab now has a richer info icon that opens a popover on desktop or a bottom sheet on mobile. The disclosure shows a plain-language explanation, the exact formula, and what improves accuracy over time.
May 7, 2026
Info tooltips stay open when you tap them on mobile
The small info icons on the dashboard and on the AGI scenario card now open a tappable popover instead of a hover tooltip, so the explanation stays visible until you tap away.
May 7, 2026
Insights card subtitles now explain instead of label
The subtitle line on every Insights card now does interpretive work instead of restating the chart axis, so a glance at a card answers what the number means rather than what it is named.
May 7, 2026
iPhone home-screen icon and name show up correctly now
Adding Gluten Hero to your iPhone home screen now uses the Gluten Hero shield as the icon and "Gluten Hero" as the label, instead of a screenshot of the page and the long "Gluten Hero — Your Gluten-Free Sidekick" title.
May 7, 2026
Log Trip header now tells you where to change the mileage rate
The Log Trip page subtitle now mentions that the auto-calculated mileage rate can be changed in Settings, so the path from "that's not my rate" to "fixed it" is one tap obvious.
May 7, 2026
Methodology copy on every KPI
Every Insights metric now has a plain-language explanation alongside its formula. The card titles still say "GF vs Regular" or "Projected Annual GF Premium," and the new disclosure explains exactly what the number is and how it was reached.
May 7, 2026
Partial-progress empty states on Insights cards
When the Insights cards do not have enough logged history to show their numbers yet, they no longer render a single line of "add 3 more" copy. Instead each card names what you have so far and what unlocks the metric.
May 7, 2026
Reports restores cleanly from the Back button
Reports already remembered your tab, scope, year, and comparison year in the URL. The parsing was lifted into a shared helper and pinned by tests so a Back from any other tab restores the exact view you left.
May 7, 2026
Screen readers now summarize each Insights card as one sentence
Each KPI card on the Insights tab now reads as one complete sentence to a screen reader, instead of a list of fragments stitched together from a label, a value, and a subtitle.
May 7, 2026
Show data table on every Insights chart
Every Insights chart now has a Show data table link below it so a screen reader, an auditor, or anyone who simply prefers numbers can read the same values the chart visualizes.
May 7, 2026
Sign in email field autofills on phone and desktop
The sign in email box now prompts your browser or phone to offer a saved email, so getting back into Gluten Hero is one tap.
May 7, 2026
Skeleton loading states on Dashboard and Insights
The Dashboard and the Insights tab now render skeleton chrome while your data is fetching, so you no longer see the "No entries yet" empty state flash on top of an account that already has data.
May 7, 2026
Threshold markers on Year to Date are easier to read
The AGI threshold line and the You are here marker on the Year to Date chart now read as calm guidance instead of competing with the cumulative line.
May 7, 2026
Voice lint now catches binary framing and AI-ish reassurance
The forbidden-language audit now flags more of the patterns Gluten Hero promised to keep out of the product, including binary framing of spending decisions, accusatory empty-state copy, and AI-ish reassurance lead-ins.
May 6, 2026
Health Investment card and backfill-prices nudge land on Insights
The Insights tab now has a fourth card that reframes your GF premium as a health investment, and a small dismissible banner that asks you to backfill regular prices on items you have already logged so the rest of Insights becomes more accurate.
May 6, 2026
Import from CeliTrack and export your own data
If you are switching from another GF expense tracker, you can now bring your purchase history with you. And whenever you want, you can download everything you have logged in Gluten Hero as a backup.
May 6, 2026
Insights tab arrives on Reports with three charts and three cards
Reports now opens on a new Insights tab that shows your GF spending in three charts and three at-a-glance cards. The tab lives at the front of Reports, so a fresh visit lands here, and a This Month / All Time toggle replaces the tax-year picker while you are on it.
May 6, 2026
A new saving tip lands on your dashboard each day
A small card on the dashboard now surfaces one practical gluten-free saving tip per day, rotating at local midnight, so there is something fresh and useful waiting for you on every visit.
May 6, 2026
Share your progress from Profile
A new section on the Profile page, under the badges grid, generates a 1080×1080 image of your gluten-free premium total ready to post on social or send in iMessage.
May 6, 2026
Smart Insights label arrives on the dashboard and Reports
The dashboard hero and the Insights tab on Reports now wear a small "Smart Insights" chip, so the calculated numbers stand apart from the raw rows on the other Reports tabs.
May 6, 2026
Store names normalize on save
Store names now title-case and trim themselves the moment you save a receipt, so "whole foods", "WHOLE FOODS", and "Whole Foods" all land in your records as the same store.
May 6, 2026
A new dashboard card explains what complete logging makes possible
A small dismissible card now sits between Quick Actions and Recent Activity on the dashboard, pointing you at Insights and connecting the dots between logging entries and seeing where you stand against the AGI threshold.
May 5, 2026
Compare two years side by side on Reports
Reports has a new Compare tab that puts two of your tracking years next to each other so you can see how your gluten free costs and medical totals are trending year over year.
May 5, 2026
GF vs. regular comparison now visible on the dashboard
The dashboard hero card now shows your GF total side by side with what the same items would have cost as non-gluten-free, so the premium you are paying is visible at a glance instead of buried in Reports.
May 5, 2026
Pill selector now used in more places on Reports
The smooth animated pill selector that drives the tax year picker on Reports is now used for the items category filter and the new comparison year picker too, so the controls feel consistent everywhere on the page.
May 5, 2026
Save button no longer hides behind the help icon
The Save chip in the top right corner of every form has been retired, so the floating help and theme icons no longer cover it on phone screens. Save now lives only at the bottom of the form on every page.
May 3, 2026
Lifetime Celiac Cost Projector lead magnet launched
A new free tool that projects your household's lifetime celiac spend (food premium, medical out of pocket, lost wages) through age 80 and shows how much may be recoverable through Schedule A, HSA, FSA, and employer reimbursement.
May 2, 2026
Active Sprint card now shows the real sprint
The Active Sprint card on the community site was showing placeholder text from months ago. It now reads the current sprint from the same plan document the team already updates, so it stays accurate by default.
May 2, 2026
New AGI Scenario Explorer on Reports
The Reports page now has a small explorer that lets you type a hypothetical AGI and instantly see how your tracked totals would land against the 7.5% threshold under that scenario, side by side with your current setup.
May 2, 2026
Bug Desk shows tab counts and lets you copy questions and admin features to Claude
The Bug Desk now shows item counts on every tab and lets admins copy a Question or an Admin Feature into Claude with one click, the same way bugs already worked.
May 2, 2026
A new Celiac Tax Prep Readiness Quiz, plus a leaner free-tools setup
The new Celiac Tax Prep Readiness Quiz takes six quick questions and emails you a personalized PDF profile of what to track and what to bring to your tax pro, with a re-download link that stays valid for 90 days.
May 2, 2026
The community site now lives at its own domain
The Gluten Hero community site has moved to community.glutenhero.net, with sign-in, the build log, the feature request board, and support tickets all working on the new domain.

Log forms now suggest past entries so you do not have to retype

April 23, 2026

Log GF Items now tells you exactly what is wrong with a row
